Extended Day Programming

NYC School Partnerships

Kids Program Providers was founded specifically to provide schools who are underserved the best opportunity to fund extended day activities — absent funding from the Department of Youth and Community Services. KPP partners with schools to navigate the voucher system, meet DOH requirements, and launch sustainable extended day programming.

The Extended Day Opportunity

NYC's Voucher system supports schools and organizations in a partnership to provide extended day programming — otherwise known as after-school. This system allows families to supplement childcare through organizations that work with school-aged children.

The process is specific in structure and function. Though it can be a timely one, it is user-friendly and works when regulations are followed.

KPP collects both ACS and HRA vouchers. Both systems work slightly differently in the way a family is approved, but ultimately work together to fund much-needed extended day programming.
